There are four ways to transfer calls: blind, attended, semi-attended, and direct to voicemail.
The Semi-Attended Transfer transfers a call to another extension while the extension rings, and before the person at the extension answers the call.
For example, Sam answers an incoming call and the caller asks for Tiffany. Sam wants to perform a semi-attended transfer, so he takes the following steps using a Yealink phone:
- He presses the Tran key or the Transfer button.
- He dials Tiffany's extension.
- He waits to hear Tiffany's extension ringing.
- He presses the Tran key or the Transfer button again, then hangs up immediately.
